Actors Creating Theatre ("A.C.T. ")

Hattiloo's got class! We are excited to offer acting classes for thespians of all ages through a program approriately referred to simply as "A.C.T. " Please contact us for more information on offerings and prices.

Acting Up (ages 4-7)
This class is a beginning program for the young creative mind where kids can become actors and actresses. Creative movement, acting games and play will be used to introduce the world of performing arts.  

Act I (ages 8-11)
In a fun, safe and non competitive environment, students can explore their imaginations while creating characters. An introduction to acting and theatre terminology will be made through games and scenes written especially for kids.

Act II (ages 12-16)
This class will give your building actor the opportunity to learn or improve their audition techniques. Scenes written especially for older kids will be used. Theatre terms, blocking, timing, pace and various styles of acting will be taught and explores.

Act III (ages 12+)
Looking to improve your skills and gain more experience? This is the class for you. Participants will work together to develop and strengthen their audition and acting techniques through, improvisation, monologues, and scenes.
