Special Events
In addition to our great repertoire of theatre, Hattiloo often hosts other events for special occasions. Whether we're honoring our generous donors, entertaining theatre patrons, promoting a new recording artist, or hosting a fun afternoon for kids, there's much more to Hattiloo than just the stage.
- Annual Holiday Cocktail - Held the first Wednesday in December, this event is produced especially for donors at the 'Designer's Desk' ($350) level and up. A wonderful networking event, Complete Catering designs four buffets and supplies a waiting staff, two bands set the mood (one in the lobby, the other in the Black Box), a wandering magician dazzles guests with illusions, and performers break out in musical numbers.
- Hattiloo Block Party - June 11, 2011, 4p - 8p, in Hattiloo Theatre's rear parking lot, this free event features performances from some of the regions most exciting neo-soul, funk, hip-hop, folk, and spokenword artist.
- Season Preview Party - Held July 23, 2011 2p - 4p (two weeks before the beginning of each season, this party is open to the general public. Come out and enjoy free ice-cream sundaes, scenes from upcoming plays, and special performances.
- What's Happening at Hattiloo - Held the third Wednesday in February, this catered event is produced exclusively for donors at the 'Playwright's Corner' ($1,000) and up. Hosted by the executive director and board chairman, donor's enjoy a presentation that overviews the theatre's most recent milestone achievements, its fiscal health and goals and objectives for the upcoming fiscal year.
